Jose Ignacio Linares

My name is Jose Ignacio Linares, I am currently a 3rd year Medical Student at Universidad de los Andes, Bogota, Colombia with an international student background with interest on microbiology, immunology and infectious diseases. As many of my fellow healthcare students around the world, I have experienced first-hand the impact of the ethical, social, and legal issues that arise around the practice of medicine in my country, issues that have become ever more present during the current pandemic. Thus,  I consider it to be of utmost importance to be able to share this experiences with others in the spirit of international collaboration, in order to, build relationships as a way to gain new insights on how to manage the consequences of moral discernment as it relates to medical policy and practice both on a personal level and as future professionals.
