Dr. Divesha Shikerkar

Dr. Divesha Shikerkar completed her Bachelors’ of Occupational Therapy from Goa Medical College Bambolim in the year 2020, and is currently doing her fellowship in advance neurorehabilitation in Jupiter Hospital, Thane.

She has worked for a period of one year in Goa Medical College’s Dept of Pediatrics and Neuro rehabilitation and served as a COVID warrior for the state of Goa and got felicitated for the same by Hon. Health Minister, Govt of Goa and All India Occupational Therapists’ Association.

She has been an active part of the India Conferences of Occupational therapy- OTICON 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 and a member of All India Occupational Therapist’s Association since 2020.

She has presented her research paper titled’ Understanding Daily Routine and Schedule in Children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in Goa, India” for OTICON 2021, has also won the trophy for best street play in 2019 and 2020.  And been a data collector for Evaluation for Ayre’s Sensory Integration ( EASI) , Global Research.

 

In my free time, I love to go trekking, play Chess, Read novels and dance my heart out.
