Healthcare is a rapidly changing, technology driven industry that requires innovation and collaboration to drive change. The Hackathon is an interdisciplinary 2 Day event where participants come together to discuss, debate and arrive at multi pronged solutions for problems in the healthcare sector.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
All participants who register for the Hackathon will have to submit a 800 word abstract on the topic
" Telemedicine: An important solution for Healthcare "
The participant must select a country of their choice, and give a multi pronged approach to solving the public health problem in that country. Abstracts will be screened on the basis of clarity of thought, innovation and feasibility of implementation.

All abstracts should be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spellings.

One participant may submit only 1 abstract.

Abstracts may not be edited/updated after final submission.

Your abstract is not successfully submitted until you receive a confirmation e-mail within 48-72 hours of submission. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, please contact us.

Abstract layout - Abstracts must be submitted with the following sections:

Country of choice

Problem statement and introduction
-
Practical solutions to the problem with respect to public health, legislative, economic and other relevant heads and implementation.

Each team gets 5 minutes to give their presentation with respect to the country they have been assigned and the topic they choose.

Topics :
-
Redesigning Maternal Health services to reduce the burden of Severe Maternal Outcome.
-
Barriers and solutions to virtual patients and online learning in medical education.
-
DISCUSSION ROUND
-
5 minutes of Discussion round after each team's presentation where all participants can speak.
-
Teams who raise relevant points during the discussion round can score extra points.
-
5 minutes of Q / A by the judges to the presenting team.
A clinical case scenario will be given and the contestants will be given two choices/options to choose as to how they would deal with the particular case from an ethical perspective.
The contestants will have to explain/justify their choice.
The team which convinces the jury wins.
This activity will be conducted after all 4 presentations as an open round to score extra points.
