PAPER AND POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Ethos 2025 gives you the chance to present your work in the field of bioethics. Our goal is to give the delegates a place to learn from one another and share what they've learned.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

  • Registration for the conference is mandatory for paper/poster presentation.

  • Abstract may have one or more co-authors and Students should present their work. However, the certificate will be awarded to the Presenting author

  • The research work on bioethics or related topics will be prioritized for selection

  • Indicative list of topics:
    1.    Clinical Ethics: consent, confidentiality, truth-telling, end-of-life care
    2.    Research Ethics: informed consent, vulnerability, risk–benefit, EC concerns
    3.    Public Health Ethics: equity, priority-setting, mandates, community engagement
    4.    Digital & AI Ethics: data privacy, telemedicine, algorithmic bias
    5.    Genetics & Reproductive Ethics: ART, prenatal diagnosis, counselling
    6.    Professionalism & Medical Ethics: doctor–patient relationship, conflicts of      interest

    9.    Trials on new medical interventions
    10.    Ethics of MTP and Reproductive Rights
    11.    Ethical challenges in pandemic public health decision making

RULES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS:

  • Word limit: ≤ 300 words

  • Language: English

  • Font: Times New Roman (Title 14, Text 12)

  • File format: PDF or Word

  • Must clearly include:

  • Background

  • Objective

  • Methodology

  • Results

  • Explicit Ethical Issue/Reflection

  • Author details with contact information are mandatory.

  • One presenter only per paper.

RULES FOR FINAL SUBMISSIONS

  • If your abstract has been accepted, you should submit your presentation by 17th November 2025 on the E-mail id provided

  • The presentation should be as precise as possible. 

  • Total slides: 12 slides maximum

  • May include figures, flowcharts, illustrations, or original audio-visual files

  • It should be a .ppt file.

RULES FOR FINAL PAPER PRESENTATION:

​

  • Each presentation can have only one presenter (Author/Co-author).

  • Time allocated for each presentation will be five minutes 

  • There will be dedicated two minutes of time for questions and discussion after the presentation from judges and audience. The session presider will read questions submitted by participants.

  • The presentation will be live on zoom with the judges and audience. 

  • You will be asked to "Share" your screen for the presentation. If you don't want to do it yourself, the moderator can do it for you. Please turn on your webcam so that the audience can see you during your presentation.

  • Please join the meeting 30 minutes early in case of any issues that need to be resolved. 

POSTER PRESENTATIONS

  • Word limit: ≤ 500 words

  • Language: English

  • File format: PDF

  • Font: Times New Roman (Title 14, Text 12)

  • Must clearly include:

    • Background

    • Objective

    • Methodology

    • Conclusion

  • Author details are mandatory.

SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT !

RULES FOR FINAL SUBMISSIONS:

  • It should be a clear concise visual presentation of abstract.

  • Size: 3 ft (width) × 4 ft (height)

  • Orientation: Portrait

  • The format should be Times new roman.  Title 18 font size and the content 14.

  • Clear sections required:

  1. Background

  2. Objective

  3. Methodology

  4. Conclusion

  • Avoid long sentences and rather use bullet points. 

  • It should be in English.

  • The top of the poster should have the following information: Title of your paper, Name(s) of author(s) and Affiliation(s).

  • Be liberal with graphs, images and illustration. Use only static images. 

RULES FOR FINAL POSTER PRESENTATION:

  • Only one presenting author allowed.

  • Demonstration time is  5 minutes, followed by a question answer session from judges and audience for 2 minutes. 

  • The presentation will be live on zoom with the judges and audience. 

  • You will be asked to "Share" your screen for the presentation. If you don't want to do it yourself, the moderator can do it for you. Please turn on your webcam so that the audience can see you during your presentation.

  • Clean, readable visual layout is essential

  • Please join the meeting 30 minutes early in case of any issues that need to be resolved.
