Dr. Akshay Yadav completed his MBBS from MGIMS, Sevagram in 2019 and has pursued his Masters in Anaesthesiology from LTMMC and Sion Hospital, Mumbai (MH, India).

He has worked for ETHOS 2017 and ETHOS 4.0 as a part of the Organising Committee and was Head of the Students’ Wing, MGIMS Bioethics Unit from 2017-2019. Under his leadership, several village outreach health camps have been conducted to raise awareness about issues like ‘Say No To Tobacco’, ‘Tuberculosis’, ‘Breastfeeding’ and so on. He is currently President, Students’ Wing, LTMMC Sion Bioethics Unit.

He has been associated with Indian Medical Association, Medical Students’ Network since it’s inception and is currently working as National Standing Committee member of IMA Junior Doctors’ Network. He is a dedicated member of Maharshtra Association of Resident Doctors (MARD) and was Former President, Sion MARD 2020-21. At present he also in the advisory committee of BMC MARD. He has also been a former member and student leader for SNO-Maharashtra Chapter, under TUFH (WHO), AIMSA and ASMI. He was former member was in FORDA as State board of governer.

He has participated in several research projects and has three international publications.

Living the busy life of a doctor, whenever he finds a little time for himself, he enjoys playing chess and is passionate about playing the Guitar.
