TOPICS:
• Ageing and plastics
(Using plastic surgery to combat ageing. Where do you draw a line?)
• Opening borders and health care services
(Impact on a country's healthcare system due to inlet of refuges)
• Causal relationship-trauma
(Describing the chain of events that led to a trauma. Keeping in mind the Domino effect)
• Savant syndrome
( Depicting the rare skill of an autistic individual with savant syndrome.
It can be artistic ability,rapid calculation,map making etc)
DOC ON TRIAL
A character analysis of our favourite doctors on TV.
Pick a single character from your favorite TV drama and showcase how you could be a better doctor than they with your superior ethical knowledge.A character analysis in view of ethics (a single character), among one of the following :
● House MD
● Good Doctor
● The Resident
● Chicago Med
● Grey's Anatomy
Pick a particular scene or episode of your choice, explain what the character did wrong and how it should have been handled according to you.

SKETCH SYNDROME
Ignite the artist in you.
Draw a pictorial description pertaining to the given topics with your twist.
Topics will be displayed 4 hours prior to time of submission on 13th October 2021
The registered participants must finish the artwork and submit entries by the end of 4 hours. The entries will be judged and winners will be announced on the last day of the conference.
RULES AND REGULATIONS

The Topics will be displayed on the ETHOS website, 4 hours prior to the conference.

The registered participants can use any material/paints/sketches etc. to depict any one of the given topics.

The sketch should be made on an A3 size sheet
-
No digital art will be accepted.

At the end of 4 hours, the participants should enroll a photograph of their sketch in jpeg/pdf format along with registration details below.
COMIC CON
Life is better when you're laughing.
A creative way to show Bioethical situations taking place in a hospital set up (i.e. OT, OPD, Labour Room etc.)
RULES AND REGULATIONS

Make an original comic - Handmade / Digital comics are accepted. Take a picture and save in jpg/jpeg format.

Upload your comic in jpg/jpeg format.

No watermark should be present on the image being uploaded.

Sign your comic to preserve originality.

Multiple entries are not allowed.

Digital editing and Digital Comics are allowed.


REEL IT IN
What we learn with pleasure, we never forget.
Learning is always fun when there is entertainment involved. Keeping in mind the negligence in the medical curriculum surrounding ethics , we have come up with the ultimate way to catch up with education with respect to medical ethics .
Using the UNDBHR as your avenue , we want participants to come up with as creative ways as they can to educate and spread awareness among fellow medical students and the general population.
Make sure that you submit your entries as Reels only, and not IGTVs.
HEAR ME OUT
Write an Open Letter.
The registered contestants are supposed to send in their open letter entries for the given topic.
TOPIC
Write an open letter to the doctor who has lost his/her patient during surgery.
RULES AND REGULATIONS

Should be the original creation of the person.

Has not been published anywhere.

Entry should be in PDF format only (Font size: 12 and Font style: Times New Roman).

Letter should follow an informal letter writing format.

Word limit: 150-200 words.
