What does this workshop offer?

As healthcare professionals, excellent communication across all mediums and across all hurdles and ages is an absolute necessity. Students need to learn and develop communication skills as an educational and instructional tool; as a means of addressing patients’ concerns and fears and also communicating with peers, seniors and juniors.

Learning objectives of the workshop :

This comprehensive workshop addresses the major shortcomings and fears that students face – be it one-on-one dialogue, public speaking, presentation, or breaking the bad news to the patients or relatives. It will also ensure that they learn how to communicate effectively and efficiently.

The workshop will also help the participants understand some of the challenges that young healthcare professionals face in the workplace today. These may be - how to behave ethically and morally despite all the challenges in their workplace; how to handle the stress and emotional distress that young health professionals encounter on a daily basis and how to cope with real-world ethical dilemmas.

Additionally, it will equip them to be more emotionally intelligent and aware of how to Identify, Understand, Use and Manage their own emotions and those of others.

The workshop will have live demonstrations, interactive sessions, tableaux and one-min consultations.
