Dr Edwin George Mathew

Dr. Edwin George Mathew is a highly disciplined physician and researcher currently contributing to clinical research at a premier teaching university . He is driven by a keen enthusiasm to widen and improve professional abilities, focusing on sharing expertise through teaching and advocates for shared learning to empower the next generation of doctors. Prior to his current research role, he served as a Junior Resident in a surgical specialty during his time in India and is currently working towards his dream of training abroad. Dr. Edwin is new to the ETHOS leadership and holds directoral roles for this conference, demonstrating his commitment to the successful execution of complex international events and effective public outreach with his expertise and skills honed while heading and participating in the organization of major events since his medical school days. He also consistently volunteers with various community groups and participates in health awareness events. His academic focus includes a strong foundation in ethical practice and research , having completed multiple foundational courses dealing with holistic medical management and ethical research. He has received competitive research grant during medical school and is currently part of multi-institutional, NIH-supported studies in the surgical field. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys playing the guitar, is an avid basketball enthusiast, and follows F1 racing.
