Dr. Kiran Wasiq, MD, is an Internal Medicine resident at Sierra View Medical Center and serves as an ETHOS Ambassador from Pakistan. As an ETHOS Ambassador from Pakistan, she leverages her unique perspective to promote cross-cultural dialogue and advance shared medical knowledge within the global health community.She completed her medical degree in Pakistan and gained early research experience as a Remote Clinical Research Coordinator with WikiDoc/Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. After moving to the United States, she further honed her clinical skills working in various Chicago healthcare settings before beginning her ACGME residency training. Her primary academic interests are centered on internal medicine and Critical Care. She has actively contributed to the field through research publications and presentations, including work recognized by CHSU and the national CHEST conference.Fluent in English, Urdu, and Punjabi, she brings a multicultural perspective to her practice. Outside of medicine, she enjoys photography and traveling that complements her global outlook on medicine and life.
