Meet Dr. Shubham!

Dr. Shubham Gupta is presently International and National Course Coordinator on International Certification Course on Bioethics & Human Rights, Department of Education, International Chair in Bioethics WMA Cooperating Centre ( Formerly UNESCO Chair in Bioethics Haifa). He is also part of Student Advisory Committee for Lancet Commission on Medicine and Holocaust and was granted scholarship to travel Jerusalem for the meeting of Lancet Commission this year. Presently He is also serving as Joint Secretary for Events and Workshops for IMA JDN Maharashtra(Indian Medical Association Junior
Doctors Network ). He is also serving as General Secretary for Rotaract Club of Caduceus – Bioethics Unit, and is member of MSAI (Medical Students Association of India ), College Representative for GAIMS (Global Association Of Indian Medical Students). He was Volunteer Incharge for Mission INDRADHANUSH – Mumbai, MCGM Volunteer Incharge for COVID-19 Taskforce (Contact Tracing) - Mumbai. He has completed his Certification Courses from WHO (World Health Organisation), the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU), London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine,
Harvard Medical School Master of Medical Sciences in Global Health Delivery, Coventry, Accenture, University of, UNESCO | Chair in Bioethics and Human Rights - 3T – IBHSc Training Program for Health Science Faculty, Heartfulness Institute and many more. He is also awarded by ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) for his selfless service to the community. He is reviewer for journals.
 

He has published many articles and case reports in indexed Journal such as PubMed and Scopus, etc. He has also published a book entitled ‘’Human Values and Professional Ethics’’ .He was a Student reporter at The Time of India Newspaper and has delivered talks seminars/Webinars on Maternal and Child Health care (Sex and Reproductive Health Including HIV & AIDS in School, Colleges and for Parents. Maternal Health, Contraception, Menstrual Hygienic (Comprehensive Sexuality Education & LGBTQ Rights. Patient’s Rights and safety, Ethical Challenges in Healthcare and how to tackle them. COVID-19 & Mucormycosis, Mental health, and emotional wellbeing, PTSD. He has taken Workshops on NCD (Non-Communicable disease) & CD (Communicable disease) & Research Methodology.
