‘Enigma - The Engineer in You!’ is an innovative technology competition in ETHOS and the theme for this year’s event is “Curing the Incurable : hand in hand with AI”.

Innovation in the medical field can be seen at every nook and corner at this time and age.
But what if that opportunity to innovate and improve the medical system is right at your hands?
We encourage you to start your preparations now to join us in Enigma, to share the novel ideas, technologies, research, learning and concepts for our profession and connect with peers from all around the world.

We aim to enrich your understanding, stimulate your thinking and shape your ideas into reality, by presenting your truly novel and innovative ideas in our prestigious International Conference, ETHOS.

WHO CAN SEND AN ABSTRACT ?

Presenting at Enigma is a very exciting opportunity to share your knowledge, ideas, experience and more with colleagues. It will provide a visual display platform of new techniques, programmers, research or professional innovations.

It is important that you spend time preparing and checking your abstract/s before submission for consideration by the reviewers and the Scientific Committee.

Please read the below mentioned guidelines BEFORE submitting an abstract/s to ensure that your submission meets the specified requirements.

​Abstract submission guidelines:

  • The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors (if any) are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.

  • All abstracts should be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spellings.

  • One participant may submit maximum of 2 abstracts, but maximum of only 1 will be selected for the presentation (if selected).

  • Abstracts may not be edited/updated after final submission.

  • Your abstract is not successfully submitted until you receive a confirmation e-mail within 72 hours of submission. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, please contact us.

  • Abstract title - limited to 20 words in UPPER CASE

  • Abstract text – limited to 250 words 

  • Abstract layout - Abstracts must be submitted with the following sections:

    • Introduction

    • Objectives

    • Methods/application/usage

    • Area of practice

    • Ethical considerations

Where can I submit my abstract?

The interested participants can submit their abstracts in pdf format in the google form before 11pm (IST), 18th December 2025

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION CLOSES ON 18th DECEMEBER 2025!!

Abstracts selected through the call for abstract process shall showcase our innovative, dynamic, inclusive and culturally diverse views on revolution of medical profession.

Each abstract will undergo an anonymous review by two (or more) peers drawn from an international list of reviewers. Only a certain number of abstracts are selected for inclusion in the programme. While we understand that it can be disappointing to miss out, the aim is to provide the most comprehensive, innovative and diverse programme possible.

For all the selected abstracts, the participants will later have to submit their final presentation in a video form (mp4) before 11pm (IST), 18th December 2025. Instructions and guidelines for the same will be provided after abstract selection.

The final presentations at the event will be judged by esteemed Judges finalised by the event organising team. The judging will be done in accordance to the following judging matrix and judges’ expert opinions on your presentations and the  best presentations will be selected as prize winners.

PRESENTATION GUIDELINES:

  • Format:
    1. Final submission must be in MP4 video format.
    2. Presentation duration: 4 minutes, followed by 1 minute Q&A round (restricted to judges only)
    3. Slides (not mandatory) may be created in PowerPoint or equivalent software.

  • Slide Requirements (if used)
    Recommended structure:
    1. Title 
    2. Introduction
    3. Objectives
    4. Methods / Application / Prototype
    5. AI Integration (if applicable)
    6. Results / Expected Outcomes
    7. Ethical Considerations
    8. Conclusion & Future Scope
    Maximum 3 slides (excluding title and references).
    Use clear English, readable fonts, and avoid overcrowded text.

  • Content & Ethics
    1. Work must be original and plagiarism-free.
    2. Mention permissions/ethical approvals if applicable.
    3. Embedded media (audio/video/animations) must function properly.
