Objectives:

Identify key terms: moral injury, burn out and compassion fatigue and related terms, moral courage, compassion satisfaction, post traumatic growth, and ethical competence.

Explore the meanings of these terms in pre, mid, and post pandemic healthcare environments across the world.

Discuss the value of moral distress experiences in terms of being an ethically responsive healthcare provider now and in the future.
